FAQ

What size of site is WireGum for?

It is built for small and independent commerce sites that sell physical products, need a real checkout, and do not want to run a full ecommerce platform.

How does the integration work?

Add one script tag, then place data attributes where your CMS or static site renders product pages. Sites that need full control can call the same JSON API the widget uses. Starter kits cover Kirby, Astro, and static HTML.

Which shipping providers can I use?

Each workspace connects one shipping provider for automated rates, labels and tracking: Shippo today, with Sendcloud (EU carriers) and EasyPost (US carriers) rolling out next. Manual shipping stays available for any carrier.

Do payments go through WireGum?

No. Checkout runs on Stripe and payments settle directly in your own Stripe account. WireGum never holds funds: it records the paid order and runs the fulfillment workflow.

What can I do before choosing a plan?

You can create a workspace, configure the catalog, connect a storefront and test the complete checkout flow for free. Lite or Plus is required only when the live storefront starts accepting payments.

Do I need to replace my CMS?

No. WireGum is meant to sit beside your CMS and handle commerce operations while your site keeps owning pages, content, and design.

Is this a marketplace or multi-vendor tool?

No. The current product is focused on one merchant, one Stripe account, and a simpler operations workflow.
